Ceretai awarded Equality Company of the Year 2020
May 27th, 2021
Ceretai was awarded Equality Company in Tech 2020 at the Recruitment Awards gala in Stockholm on May 26th, 2021. The nomination for the prize, also known as the WTEQ Award, was announced in April with the other finalists being IT consultancy Knowit and corporate sustainability startup SustainLab.
“We are very proud to be awarded this prize. It clearly shows that our vision, a more equal and tolerant world, is shared by people in the industry and that there is a belief that the technology we develop can support this vision, ” says CEO Matilda Kong.
The jury’s motivation reads as follows:
Ceretai is the winner of the WTEQ Award because their tools not only contribute to change by highlighting the differences that exist in the media in a concrete and clear way, but also because they are a role model in their way of working and creating discussion and dialogue around the issue of representation in the media and the importance of data and facts to follow up and create change.
Ceretai’s tools reward rapid action for increased inclusion by helping others not only to focus more on equality, but actually quickly measure the results of the efforts made. We like that they make a difference directly, and also develop a tool that helps others see the results of what they do. Equally directly. That’s the spirit.
A very interesting start to a journey of scalable inclusion, which we will follow closely.
